You need to access the motor.
Kia back door window wont gi all the way down.
I cant even control all those windows with the drivers door switch.
With a voltmeter measure the voltage at the motor while operating the window switch.
The passenger window goes down but wont go up it used to go up really slow.
This is a quick video of the steps i did to find out what.
If the windows move in one direction the problem is not the motors it is the wiring or lack of a ground or power because of the switch.
Cycle the rear window lock out switch a few times.
Roll the window completely up and hold the auto button in the up position for 10 seconds.
The window glass will move down up down up which indicates that the window motor is in reset mode.
Turn the ignition key to the on position and close the door.
Hold the door panel away from the door enough to disconnect the electrical connectors from the window switch and the power door locks.
Roll the window completely down.
Press the front window switch to the auto up position six times auto up or auto down 6.
Make sure the windows are completely closed.
As soon as i push down it goes down for about a cm then stops and wont go down anymore unless i go up all the way.
The voltage should be approximately 12 volts across the motor.
The only way to get the window down more than 1cm is to go down 1cm till it stops then hit the auto up button where it goes to the top then will go down about 5.
Back drivers side window doesnt go up or down it used too.
Roll the window completely down and hold the auto button down for 10 seconds.
Possibly it was on for a long time and could be just stuck.
You can also unplug the switch and supply 12v and a ground directly to the motors leads to roll the windows up or down.
If the driver s door switch won t open the right rear door but the switch in the door will look for either a bad switch in the driver s door or a fault in the intervening wiring.
Back passenger window doesnt work either and is missing the control switch.
What should i do and or maybe need to buy.
Remove the door panel under the malfunctioning window if the window does not work with either switch.
Insert the common screwdriver in between the door panel and the door to pry out the trim fasteners along all three sides of the door panel.
